Toddlers are so out of synch right now with the cruddy, no energy recovering beds. They are usually having to sleep most of the day and then are up in the middle of the night when all the other sims in the household are asleep. It's kind of rough unless I have a sim with no career that can get up at that time to train the toddlers to poo and do shapes. For feeding I just throw plates of food on the floor and they can feed themselves.
Children can take care of themselves. I tend to have them in bed by 11PM usually.
