deserted houses and buildings are really rather inspirational so i take a look when i go out because there is plenty where i live
and I also like to watch loads of drama or animations so i sometimes pick up interesting ideas from rooms or backgrounds in them like "oh pretty i wonder if i can create that"
aaand sometimes i just pick a random color theme like aight this nice neighborhood will be clown town and rip sims
