So Yes I do play with mods and I've gotten all the apparent mods that needed updating updated. However, with the new Grim Challenge I need to complete a want but realized none have been popping up. I'm not sure which mod could be effecting the wants and fears but if anyone has had a similar issue and found which of their mods was causing could you let me know so I can see if I by chance have the same mod?
I'm having the same issue here. I turned the wants and fears back on for this, but the wants still don't pop up even if I make a new game.

Wants & Fears not working for me either since the last update a few days ago. I can’t finish the new Grim Challenge without them.
I'm having the same issue. None of my mods have anything to with wants so there shouldn't be any issues. It won't let me move onto the week 6 until I can finish a want. I'm going to be pissed if I don't get to finish because of this.
Have you tested with no mods/CC? And checked the Broken/Updated Mods & CC lists?
Yes, I've tested without mods, and when checking the list, none of them mention this error occurring. Unless I've missed it/if I missed it, could you please list the mods that effect the wants and fears not showing up? Thank you!
There is no easy way to say this but you need to back up your saves and mods folder uninstall the game and then reinstall. This was the only way I could fix the issue, even a repair game didn't work. Sorry for the bad news
I don't list what all the mods do, nor do I know what they do, nor that is a service I provide. Update the mods that are listed as needing updates, and delete ones listed broken. How to test the rest is explained in How to Use Mods and CC
