[adult mod] won’t download?

So i downloaded [qdult mod] about 4.5 hours ago thinking oh yeah this’ll be easy. Bear in mind i’ve never used a file mod before I always use Curseforge. Anyway i did some research on how to download it and then did as told download the file move it into documents then sims4 then mods, first time i did that i got the pop up when i started my game that it hadn’t worked so i went back to it had a look couldn’t figure out what was wrong so i deleted it and started over, the second time it went into the game like its in my list of mods in game but i dont have any of the interactions that come with it. I’ve restarted my game multiple times turned my laptop on and off and completely restarted but it just keeps doing the same thing. Any ideas??? TIA x

    For any mod, you need to make sure you have all the other mods it requires. That's a common cause of mods not showing in-game but showing in the list. Also, not all mods are compatible with the current version of the game.
