all glass in doors hazy/snowy/correlated look after update

So, i just updated my game and added the for rent pack - but now when i am building, the doors which contain glass look like they have been snowed on, you can't see through them - completely correlat...

    @Nadjasigourney  What lots have you tested on?  There was a problem a few months ago with glass not showing up on certain roof pieces on a couple of lots in one world.  I'm not saying that that's the same issue you're having, but it's worth testing on different lots.  Please test the same lot in the new save that you've been using in your existing save, and a couple different lots (in different worlds) in your affected save, and let me know what you find.

    Additionally, please try playing on ultra settings, if only briefly.  The game may be very stuttery or lag somewhat, but that's fine, you can revert the settings and quit as soon as you see whether it makes a difference.  You do need to set thet game to ultra, then quit and reload, to see the full effects.

Thank you for your answer. I just tried a couple of doors and windows without foundation or platform

It happens with almost all - except Horse ranch, island living and some of the windows from for rent. 

I purchased: for rent, horse ranch, island living and get famous today and installed them, together with the update and i just opened an older save file which i played before adding these dlc's and in this file/play don't know what you call it, the windows and doors are as normal.

I also just now, placed my files on my desktop, repaired the ea app again, restarted an entirely new game (new save file was added in documents/electronic arts), the doors and windows were as normal, so then i placed my save film en trays (+ tray deleted something) from the previous files i placed on my desktop back into the sims 4 electronic arts folder - and when opening, the doors and windows acted glitched again. Don't know if this info helps, its driving me nuts!

    @puzzlezaddict I did test it on a couple of lots, and it was like that on those too, but they were in the same world. So i did what you suggested, and after a couple of tries the windows and doors became normal on all the lots (including the problem one) and in all worlds. 

    The only thing that seems to still be glitching is the slide to the side - sliding door solution $135 from the eco lifestyle pack - but only in the chesnut ridge world so the horse ranch pack. It keeps glitching there, tho not with a snowy layer - it almost looks like "oil patches" on the glass. It happens on each lot there, and only there - the other worlds are working now. Thank you! it took some persistence and without you mentioning it i would not have haha.

    Exactly what i mentioned above also happened in the ultra settings.

    Could it be something in the horse ranch pack? i did only purchase and install it today, tho i did repair it in the ea app. Maybe i should just take it as it is now, because it is way better. So thank you again!

      @Nadjasigourney  I tested this door and a few other Eco Lifestyle doors on two different lots in Chestnut Ridge and didn't see anything strange.  I did notice the Eco-related sparkles while building, and I was wondering if those were showing up for you—it's possible the graphical issue is related to those sparkles not rendering properly.  But then you should see it for the other EL doors that have glass in them.

      Still, if the problem is most of the way solved, that's a pretty good outcome.  And I doubt this has anything to do with Horse Ranch not being installed properly or otherwise negatively influencing the game.  If that were the case, you'd likely see a lot more issues.

        @puzzlezaddict true, thank you so much! Who knows it will disappear by itself. Not sure what you mean with EL-related sparkles but ill take it. Glad i can really start building today!
