Please describe the patch or change you made. the latest update for version PC: 1.90.375.1020

I just updated the game with the latest version, but when I opened the game and loaded my last saved game, it said that all my mod items were removed. Something about conflicting logins or accounts..  However I haven't logged out and logged in as any other account, for I only have one Origin account.  All mod files are still in the mod folder.  What is going on?

  • @momohimechan In July 26th, 2022 patch notes, "In case you have Mods or Custom Content, the game will automatically disable them for you after first launching The Sims 4 after the update. To re-enable all your Mods and Custom Content, select the Settings option in the Menu and select Settings. Under the ”Other” section you’ll find the ”Enable Custom Content and Mods” option. Check it and restart your game in order for it to take effect!"
    Did you try that?

Hi @vwxb22bm2z3t The other causes can be that your Mods folder isn't in the right place, which sometimes happens if you use OneDrive syncing. In that case, you need to go through the unsyncing process and get the folder to its proper home. OneDrive can also be the cause of your settings reverting. If you don't have OneDrive, we can look at other causes, but please start a new thread for that.
