Okay, I kinda love the infants. So cute seeing them crawling around. But I'm going nuts over here with 3 at one time!
I have a household with 2 couples. One recently had twins, and the other had a single baby. So we got 3 infants now. And my sims literally cannot do ANYTHING else aside from caring for the babies and eating, using the bathroom, and sleeping. One of them wants to get engaged to his partner, but there just isn't enough time in the day (or night). And YES I hired nannies. Two of them in fact. The first one was an elder woman who seemed completely clueless (kept picking up my exhausted baby from the crib. So I dismissed her and when she arrived again the next morning, she was invisible. So she got deleted. Now I have one elder man and one Adult man. They spent quite a bit of time chatting with one another. And my sims took care of the babies. But at least maybe with 2 nannies there might be a chance of some more help?
ANYWAY - so in MCCC, you can change the number of days in each life stage, but Infant doesn't show up. I have newborn set at 3 and toddler set at 12. On long lifespan. I like my teens, YAs and Adults to stick around long enough to form relationships, etc. But if I click on an infant, and go into Simology, the bar says, Days till age up 49 (there is a small amount of green (maybe like a centimeter?) there. But even 49 is WAY WAY too long for me.
Any ideas how to change or cheat this? I know I can age them up by Shift Clicking on them and saying Age up. But I'd like it to be automatic. I have a lot of different households I'm working with. So just thought I'd ask.
Thanks!
