Please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. This will let you know if a mod or CC item is your cause. If it is, see Mod & CC Issues: START HERE
hi! i’ve done this but the glitch is still happening so im not sure what to do
Try this next, please:
- Drag the whole user folder (The Sims 4) from Documents to your desktop and/or rename it.
- Run a Game Repair
- Start the game. It should behave like it's new, with no saves to load.
- Test in a new save.
