i keep getting this better exceptions error every time i try to load into a household. i can make sims in cas just fine, but when i actually try to load into the household i just made, the game loads for a while, plays the music that you hear when you load into a household, and then crashes. i recently cleared out my mods folder to get rid of all of my conflicting + broken mods, and updated my most important ones to the latest versions. I also tried repairing my game + starting fresh saves to no avail, and I don't know what else to do...hoping someone can help me out! ^^

i believe i finally found the culprit! it was tarotcardfreelancer_V1 by thatsojordy for me! ^^i'm not sure if that was one of the broken mods listed, as i went through some of the lists and didn't see it, but that seemed to fix my issue!

better exceptions help, drama scheduler crash...

just commenting to lurk for a solution to this because m getting it too, game was workjing fine after the expansion release then just broke a week later.

following because idk what else to do at this point, i removed all freelance and gig mods since others have said those COULD be the cause but i still get this error.

ayamekichida after removing or updating those, do a "Save As" as well. If that still doesn't help, do a full vanilla (no mods/CC) test please.

"save as" didn't work for me, but removing all my mods seemed to help. guess i have to figure out what mod could be messing with those drama nodes using the 50/50 method...i'll update this thread when i find what mod is causing this.

ANTICOR3 It's not necessary caused by a mod just because one possible cause is mods. Test mod/CC-free in a new save.

Seems like the same thing is still happening without mods! I wonder if it's a game issue...

ANTICOR3 BE and MCCC reports are interpretations of game last exception files, which are generated by game bugs as well as by mods. You can bring your mod-free report to Gameplay Issues or Bug Reports.

sorry, i was thinking of when i tried the “save as” method and it still crashed. game actually does work as intended without mods. ^^

If it works mod-free, start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC. And see the section in How to Use Mods and CC on how to test your Mods folder
