@countrymama85    Hello!  You mentioned you have Mods installed so please move your Mods folder to the desktop and delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder before opening the game for testing.

it's working now there was an update to my sims game and that seemed to fix it
