Can´t use crystal creations pack

I bought the pack a little while ago and finally decided to play with it, but when I select for my sim to make jewelry piece or cut a gem it does not even show up in their task bar and they don´t do it and when I clock on design random jewelry for 300 simoleons, the action appears in their task bar but they just glitch out of the action every time. Does anyone know what mod could be causing this, I´m assuming it a mod as I don´t remember anyone complaining about this when the pack came out.
