Can't change the pitch of the werewolf howl in cas

I thought there was a way to change the pitch of a werewolf's howl in CAS. I shifted to my sim's werewolf form, (the form is unlinked from my sim) and tried tweaking the voice, thinking it would change the howl, but the only thing that happens is it's shifting the sim's speaking voice, while the sim is in the werewolf form. I'm assuming this is some kind of glitch because the wolf doesn't howl when I mess with the voice sound. The werewolf form just talks. My sim does the howling in her human form, and when I try tweaking the voice sound there, it just changes the speaking voice. So, I can't figure out if there's some glitch going on or if there was never a way to change the wolf's howl.
