I'm playing the steam version of sims 4 and i have a problem. I can see the houses when I view a world from the map, but when I click on a lot (in view or live mode), it shows up completely blank. The sims that live there show up, but the terrain and house are completely gone. does anyone have a fix for this or the same problem. I am not using any mods by the way
@alexhob123 Does this happen in a new save too, or just your current one? Please start a new save for comparison's sake.
You can also try recovering a backup version of this save; hopefully at least one of the backups is unaffected.

This is a known issue and has been for years. Unfortunately, once the save has been affected, there's no way to repair it, which is why I'm hoping one of your backups is still intact.

might try starting over again from scratch by uninstalling then reinstalling and see if it works
@alexhob123 When you load the game to the Main Menu, there will be a button to start a new save (New Game) as well as buttons to Resume or Load Game.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Sims 4 may not help. This is typically an issue with the save itself or with the user folder, not the program files.
