Clothing and Invisible Sim Glitch

so i got the newest update for WW and there's this weird glitch in my game. after i use the mod the sim i'm controlling won't change and they remain unclothed. also, the emotion panel and almost every other panel where a sim's face is supposed to be is blank. i try to prompt my sims to change their outfit, but they remain unclothed.(but when in 'change outfit' it shows the outfit i chose is on) other sims seem to be fine but at times they are completely invisible as well. this happens after I use the mod and i'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix it or if others are having the same problem. my game also takes really long to save as well. i've tried to update and any other mods i have that have been updated but still nothing. update: the problem isnt . i took the files out and launched the game and the problem persists. i removed some other cc folders in my mods folder and took out the most recent save from my saves. when i put it back in he save slot wont even LOAD and im stuck on the loading screen. i created a new save slot and everything is working fine. still not able to get into that one save file. can someone help

  • @ughrxnee TIme to start from an empty Mods folder:

    1. Drag the Mods folder to the desktop
    2. Copy your Saves folder there too (so you don't have to worry as much about saving by accident).
    3. Delete the file called localthumbcache,
    4. Open the game to test - in more than one save - and exit without saving.

This both confirms that it was mods/CC that need sorting out (which is likely) and gives you a clean Mods folder to work with. If you still have those glitches during this test, please let me know.

If you don't still have glitches, do this next:

    1. Download fresh copies of mods that have been updated since Feb. 28; this is a useful start point for game-rated mods: Broken/Updated Mods . Check installation instructions for any changes. Add XML Injector (if any of your mods use that) and ModGuard to those. Delete the old copies from your old folder. Put the new copies in the new folder and test.
    2. Now you have just the non-updated mods in your old folder. Test those in batches. If you have to remove some as part of a mini-50-50 for that batch, delete localthumbcache.
