Do you recommend merging CC?
Are there pro/cons to it? Is separating mods into sub-folders a reasonable alternative to merging? I'm considering doing one or the other with my own but don't know much about it in terms of benefits ...

All of my script mods are in their own folders which makes updating quick and easy. I put the date the file was downloaded after the name so that I know the last update of those mods. Its my regular CC that I need to reorganize as I only have them in folders with general names (clothing, shoes, objects, custom build, etc...).
