Entire lower bar disappears

I keep having an issue where my whole lower bar (where my sims and their needs are) and sometimes other buttons (build mode, gallery button it's not always the same) just disappear. It usually happens when I go from a non-live mode to live mode. At times I cannot click anything so I have to do alt + F4 to save and close to restart the game. I thought it was a new mod so I deleted it and I am still having this issue. I also have been crashing often which has never been the case for me on this PC even with mods and CC. Is this just a me issue with my mods and CC or is it other people as well?

I haven't ever posted about a bug since there aren't many I encounter that aren't already known or that don't have a large effect on my gameplay. This bug has been so bad that at times I cannot play.

    I responded to someone else with this but didn't see yours! Hope this helps!!
    Everyone on here kept telling me it was my mods but I repaired my game multiple times and the sims did an update which fixed it. So I genuinely think this is a game issue since other people I have talked to who don't have mods have had the same bug. In theory, it could be a mod issue for you, so I would try to uninstall mods for a bit and repair your game a couple of times to see how that works! Good Luck!
