gallery
I had a problem similar to this a couple months ago that I was able to resolve. I can't access most of the things I have saved to my gallery/my library (most notably I cannot access ANYTHING using custom content in my library), and when I close out of it I can no longer even try to open it. Before when I had this problem, I could not see/access anything at all and each tab was labeled "WWWWWWWWWW" - I was told then that it was likely because I had some out of date mods that needed to be updated which I did and everything was fixed. This time around, the layout of my gallery seems to be glitching more than anything. When I first open it up nothing appears, then when I go to any of the tabs, the sidebar beneath "View Content By:" is all glitched together and overlapping so that I can't click on anything. I tried to see if making sure all of my mods were updated would work (including deleting and redownloading EVERYTHING regardless of if it was actually out of date or not), and that didn't seem to do anything. I'm not sure if this is an error on EA's end that just needs to get fixed or if there is something else I need to do, but any help so I can get this figured out is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!
@KingJillian0 Hi! I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Gallery. A friend recently mentioned that there are a couple of mods that were updated but may not be compatible with the game; Color Sliders - More Columns Compatible version and More Columns in CAS. Do you have these installed? If so, try removing them. Then, delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder before opening the game for testing. You may also want to run a game repair.
If you don't have those mods, I suggest moving all your mods to the desktop or some other safe place, deleting that cache file and testing the game without any mods / CC at all. Sometimes, even when mods / CC appear to have been updated, they can still cause issues. If the Gallery works without any mods, then you will need to test your mods / CC a little at a time until you find the one causing the problems.
