ShongusChipmunk Please move your Mods folder to your desktop and test the game again. This will remove, but not delete, your mods and custom content. You can restore the folder later, but it's important to find out whether your mods and cc are contributing to the issue.
If the Mods folder copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, please let me know.
If removing the Mods folder doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag, which is a system report of sorts. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

Hi!! I'm really sorry for the late reply, I've been avoiding the sims to help my anxiety.
The glitch isn't happening anymore with the mods folder out on my desktop, I was wondering where to go from there !!! any help would be great :D
