Game failed to load error 110:9d5d0e8f:aa7a8c3b after new update

When i turn off my script mods, it goes away. Households are playable when they’re on an empty plot, but not in houses. I’ve sorted through all my mods and nothing’s working, what do I do?

  • @Lunar1Lunar Okay, so you're fine with no mods, you're fine with all your mods individually, but one batch doesn't work.

I'd suggest doublechecking that when you tested parts of that batch, you weren't missing installation pieces. Also try subbatches to look for conflicts.

I'm happy to take a look at what's in that group that won't play nice together as well, but it might be much later today before I can do that. Still, you can upload screenshots of what's in it.

  • @Lunar1Lunar Start with the lists in Broken/Updated Mods to find what needs to be deleted or updated. If you're still having issues after that, you'll need to do a 50-50 on the rest of your mods folder to find the culprit file(s). I'd be interested in known what turns out to be the issue for this one.

I looked through the list and deleted all the broken mods, but it’s still not working. I did the 50/50 method and found a group of folders that made the game break. But when I moved it again and opened the game just to check, it still didn’t work, even though everything else was safe. Individually they all work fine. what do i do?

@NinaTheSamurai What have you tried so far? You might want to start by trying a clean folder:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Make sure you're doing this with the folder the game sees.
    2. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
    3. Start with New to test if your issue recurs.

    If that works:

    1. Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
    2. Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select an older save to test.

    If that works:

    1. Copy your old Tray files (this is your Library), Screenshots and Videos files.
    2. To test mods, copy the files into the new folder *in batches* with any mods they depend on (injectors and core mods, for example). Don't copy your old resource.cfg file. If you delete any mods from the new folder, delete localthumbcache. Check the instructions on 50-50 testing here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mods-CC-Issues/INFO-How-to-Use-Mods-and-CC/m-p/13439356#FiftyFifty
