I'm playing on a Macbook Pro. Every time I click the camera in my sim's inventory, it goes into photo mode, but then it completely freezes. I can do absolutely nothing other than reboot with the reboot button. I do have mods, but the game was fine a few hours ago and I don't have any new mods since then.
@allthemore44 In case there wasn't a reason to see the issue before (the conditions might have not all been right to trigger the problem) but it's still mod-related, please test without mods. Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.
