Game issues caused by Mods
Hi, this is the first time I am posting on this forum, I apologize if something is not correctly worded.
I have a MacBook Pro 13" M1 2020 Laptop RAM 8GB. I do use mods and CC.
Since the last update, my game no longer works. I have used all the troubleshooting technics, updating mods, 50/50 method, repairing, uninstalling, reinstalling, renewing the whole sims 4 folder, removing the mods folder. The only way I can get the game to work is if I remove all my saves, and only keep Build/Buy CC. No CAS CC, or Mods, nor recovering past saves.
I no longer know what to do. Do I have to get rid of all CC and mods permanently? Are my saves completely corrupted and lost? Is this a Mac problem? Will there be a solution?

PS.: Sorry for sounding desperate. Sims 4 is the way I wind down from work, it really helps me disconnect, but I don't think I will continue playing if I can no longer use mods and cas cc :( i
So, I am very technologically challenged, but I have made a new clean game file, and add my CAS and Build/Buy CC first, started a new save, added my mods (one by one) then added my old saves and tray (I restarted and saved my game after adding each one). And now I have fully recovered my game. I don't know if that would help anyone, but I wanted to post it here just in case.
