Game issues caused by Mods

It's not a Mac problem, it is most likely a modded game problem and removing Mods, which is the right thing to do when they are not compatible with the current patch level of the game, may have caused your save to now not load if something in your save is dependant on certain CC items. I've merged your post into a master thread. Please read the opening post and provide all the info requested and feel free to send me your save and I'll test in my game. It would also help if when you start with the new Sims 4 folder, copy your save into the new saves folder, launch the game and if it crashes you may have a LastException file in the new Sims 4 folder. Please copy and paste the contents of your LE here.

I am attaching two LE, one with a clean game + my saves, and the other one with all my mods and CC (neither one loads). I did the same with the required Screenshots. 

Unfortunately, I was not able to attach my save. How can I send it to you?

I don't even have to test your saves. You have Mod errors in your Modded game (Lumpinou and maybe others) and you have the milestone bug in your non-modded save. I tried the milestones fix, but it only helps if I have the both milestones fix in my mods folder and nothing else. Its still crashes or goes into infinity loading if I have other mods or a clean game with my old saves :(

Right, so check your other Mods as they are the cause. The Mods forum is here if you need further help on how to do that - The Sims 4 Mods & Custom Content | EA Forums

The milestone fix is needed for your old saves, that's the point of having it in your Mods folder. You cannot currently run a completely clean game because your saves are broken without the milestone fix mod. At some point you have had CC playmats in your game that you have removed which causes the milestone bug. Or you have disabled the Storybook Nursery Kit, if owned.

I did check the mods forum, but I've already tried all the fixes they suggest. I've also seen other people have the same problem as I do and they haven't been able to find a solution. Currently, my game only works if I have no mods/CC (though I can use build/buy mods) or just the milestones fix if I have my old saves.

I removed playmate, but have not disabled Storybook Nursery Kit (I do own it), I will try that.

No! Don't disable it, that's the point. The link to the bug report explains it. You are getting the milestone error LE because you removed a CC playmat. Players in a clean non-modded game get the same error IF they disable the Storybook Nursery Kit but hardly anyone ever does that. 

I can't help you further. We have identified the milestone error you are experiencing and the fix is to download the Mod, which you have done. The rest of your issues are caused by one or more incompatible Mods because your game works without them. If you require further help you need to ask for it in the Mods forum although you will be expected to have gone through every single one of your Mods and confirmed they are up to date and that you have taken out every single one which is not compatible with the current patch level of the game.
