Rename or move to the desktop the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts. Repair the game in Origin/EA App then try to launch it.
I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Air, running on macOS Sonoma 14.6.1.
I had already moved the EA folder out of documents a few times, and repaired the game multiple times when I was troubleshooting. I apologize for not mentioning that in my original post, I literally tried everything I could think of to try and fix the game.

The game didn't launch at all after moving the Electronic Arts folder from the Documents folder? Or did it launch and then stop working again?The game launches and then it crashes again. it crashes in 2 seconds exactly (2 in-game minutes) after I actually start playing.

Does this happen with every single save you load? Does it happen with every different household? Or does it happen with the same save and loading the same household?
