I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Air, running on macOS Sonoma 14.6.1.
I had already moved the EA folder out of documents a few times, and repaired the game multiple times when I was troubleshooting. I apologize for not mentioning that in my original post, I literally tried everything I could think of to try and fix the game.

The game launches and then it crashes again. it crashes in 2 seconds exactly (2 in-game minutes) after I actually start playing.

Does this happen with every single save you load? Does it happen with every different household? Or does it happen with the same save and loading the same household?It was happening with the same household at first, and then I managed to save the game and play a different household before it crashed. everything was running smoothly with household #2, but then it crashed again, i'm not sure how long after, maybe 15 minutes?
As for the saves, I have my games automatically saved with MCCC because I had issues before when the game would crash and I'd lose my progress. So everything is under one save, and I only play in that save. I have other saved games from before using MCCC though, but I don't use them.
