Game keeps crashing

The game launches and then it crashes again. it crashes in 2 seconds exactly (2 in-game minutes) after I actually start playing.

It was happening with the same household at first, and then I managed to save the game and play a different household before it crashed. everything was running smoothly with household #2, but then it crashed again, i'm not sure how long after, maybe 15 minutes?
As for the saves, I have my games automatically saved with MCCC because I had issues before when the game would crash and I'd lose my progress. So everything is under one save, and I only play in that save. I have other saved games from before using MCCC though, but I don't use them.

Thanks for the extra info, hugely helpful. Your issue is not a Mac tech problem so I've moved your thread to the Mods forum as you're using a Mod to save your game which may be causing the problem. If this happens in a completely vanilla game, i.e. a whole new Sims 4 folder with none of your current user data, and not adding any of it to the new TS4 folder, then please do post back in Mac tech IF you think it is a problem with your machine and the game.@saturnsdaughter A few things that would be helpful here:
- If you're playing with mods, start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC . You need to make sure you don't have known broken mods and that others are updated.
- For any other mods not listed in *any* of those lists, you can do a 50-50 to isolate broken content
- If you have any last exception reports or other error reports, those would be helpful to have info on. But delete old ones. Only newly generated ones are useful.
- Try to not what's happening when the game crashes.
Thank you for the information! I think I was able to fix the issue because I had accidentally deleted the EA folder the other day, and it was a whole process to get it back on my computer from iCloud. Anyway, I had to delete a bunch of unnecessary stuff in the folder, so I think I somehow fixed it?
the game doesn’t seem to be crashing, but I have to redownload all my mods so hopefully it doesn’t happen again. I’ll let you know if it the issue starts again.
