[mod-related] Game launches to black screen

I accidentally update my game without knowing that the mod and cc are broken since the marketplace is out. It updated like usual, but it won't open after that. So I tried to repair it on the EA app before trying to open it again. Failed, but I kept trying to open it without thinking to remove the mod and cc in the game. After awhile, it did open and load like usual, until the menu appeared like that. I can't interact with anything, even the escape button. I need to forced the game closed to quit the game.

I might try again later with mod and cc removed.

my game only works if i dont have too many subfolders in mods folder. still, my ui is messed up and i only have cc + map replacements in. why?

I am getting a black screen. Sims loading screen comes on, and then just goes black.

Ui mods like more cas columns, backgrounds, map replacements, can cause the loading screens/buttons to glitch out, removing anything that changes or overrides UI/backgrounds should be removed temporarily till its fixed or a modder updates them for this patch.

Confirmed on why the Main menu goes black from Weerbesu.
Hi! I'm working on an update right now. Note that there is currently a base game issue that causes many mods, including this one, to not load. EA is fixing it soon, and I'll update this mod after that. For anyone who's updated their game, make sure you've removed this mod from your mods folder and wait for an update. The old version of this mod will cause a black main menu screen if left in once EA fixes mods not loading.

You need to wait for those to update before using them.

If you have the Better Build Buy mod, it's most likely that mod. I know I had a black screen because of that single mod, sucks because I love that mod. If not, it is most likely a gameplay mod, not cc if you needed to do a 50/50
