I recently updated my game and when I loaded into the game, manage worlds, the gallery, traveling anywhere is all greyed out. If you hover over the buttons it says, "Game loading is in progress." Is this due to mods being out of date or is this a bug with the new patch?? Thanks for you help!
That's most probably mods related. We're still in test mode, but as far as we can see, a lot of mods broke because of the game update.

I am also having this error. I’ve tried resetting my folders and repairing the game, but it is not working. It will only work without my mods, which I have hundreds of so I am hoping there is a fix soon…
I just deleted WW and all animations and SimRealistic bills mod and it seemed to have gotten rid of this issue for me.
Did you redownload them? or Are you playing without those mods?

I haven’t been able to play at all because of this. I’ve deleted so many mods, updated mods, cleared cache, repaired the game several times. I don’t know what else to do. This is ridiculous and so freaking frustrating.
Same. I deleted all my mods, all my cc, repaired the game, tried with a different family, it just doesn't work. For having spent over $1400 on all the expansions and game and stuff packs as well as kits, it's absolute nonsense that this expensive game is not playable now. If anyone has any ideas or has experienced this and got their game working again, please detail how you did it.
