Game not loading due to build/buy CC
Since the update my sims game shows as 'Not Responding' when loading. I have done the 50/50 method and it appears to be the entirety of my build/buy CC folder. How can i fix this?

Hhlucy Please try this set of steps:
- Rename your Mods folder to something like "Mods OLD"
- Delete the file called localthumbcache.package
- Restart the game and exit
- Download one piece of new build/buy CC. I usually get a recent item from peacemaker because I know it has no issues.
- Install that one item in the newly created Mods folder and try again.
Hi, thank you for your response. I have tried to complete this and it does not work either.
Are you on a PC or a Mac? And have you checked anything else -- like your firewall -- or tried any other tests?
I am on PC. I’ve never encountered this before so I am unsure on other checks. I will check my firewall today
