I can't interact with him, it just says pleading won't work. and he just keeps hanging out, playing video games on my computer

Same here. He has been chilling at my house for at least 2 generations lol. He may leave for a day or two, but he always comes back when one of my chickens dies, and he hangs around for days and days.
