hair glitch after update of october 2025

Hey guysss !okay im doing this post because i’ve lost ways of trying to fix the problem.All my female sims have laggy hair (picture below to see). i tried playing with the settings but nothing changed, the hair are updated. i spent MONTHS trying to figure it out. (laptop mode is also off). all my graphics settings are in high quality. before the update of october it was working just fine. it all happened after the update. im mad because i can't find a solution. normally i can track the problem, but this is just outrageous. everything was perfect and all of the sudden it was like this. i updated my PC , my GPU. I have all the necessary specs, but nothing helped and i have no one who can help me.so, if someone can help me i’d be more than grateful 🤍

Please try this exact set of steps, and post the answers.

Rename your Mods folder (call it something like MODS BACKUP)
Delete the localthumbcache file
Start the game and open a new save to be a test save. QUESTION: At step #3, do you have any CC showing up? If so,&nbsp;stop here and tell me.
Make Sims with&nbsp;non-CC hair. QUESTION: Does the non-CC hair look right in game?&nbsp;
Exit. Download&nbsp;one&nbsp;new CC hair file. It can be one you had before. Install it in the empty Mods folder.
Start the game and open your test save. Put the hair on a sim. QUESTION: Does the CC hair look right in game?&nbsp;

Is this CC hair the ONLY file in the Mods folder (other than Resource.cfg) when you're testing? What does it look like in-game, not in CAS? I don't see an issue in your pics. Looks like alpha hair.
