help my apartment door is gone and I can't replace it

hello so an update came out and all of the doors in my sims apartment were gone so i checked all of my mods and updated all of the old ones. Now I can place doors on the inside of my apartment but I can't place a front door because it's I guess not considered part of my sims apartment. What should? I do I spent so much time decorating and remodeling it I don't want to start over ☹️
