HELP: Scratches on bed, but no pets or supernatural EPs are installed. Why?

Hey everyone, I recently got scratches on my sim's bed for the first time EVER. i do not have the pets or supernatural expansion packs, which i know can sometimes cause the scratches. They also made me super uncomfortable ... not really sure why but definitely gave me the heebie-jeebies if you know what i mean. 

it honestly freaked me out so much that if it happens again i probably wont play for a while until its fixed bc it freaks me out so much. thanks guys, sorry for being a bit drama!
