Help with Maxis Match Lips

Hello there! I would like to get into making CC and the place I would like to start would be with makeup. I would really like to make Maxis Match Lips but the only tutorials I can find are on alpha.
Does anyone have any tutorials/guides or can you explain how :)
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Also I understand how to do recolors but I want lips that look good. Sort of like xUrbanSimsx lip kits.
