I did have MOO on when i was decorating and i was in the middle of testing when i found this issue...but it looks like it was a mod issue and its all working fine now
@AndreaHope Oh! Now that you mentioned counterspace, I double checked the thumbnails on gallery. When I place the lot, there are no cabinets or wall coverings in the dining / kitchen area. I didn't get the notice about items being removed when I first placed the lot. However, when I placed it on the lot you indicated, I did get that notice. Something like 52 items were removed and some replaced but not the cabinets and wall coverings. It looks like there are supposed to be drapes as well but I don't know what else might be missing. I'm adding some screengrabs below. Perhaps you could try removing some of that CC and test for the issue again? Meanwhile, I can do some more testing to see if the problem occurs.
Edit: Something else I just noticed is that lot is 40x30 but in the gallery it is 30x20. Also, your image of the worlds view, it looks like there is another structure beside the house. All I have is the house. I don't know if that has anything to do with the issue but just wanted to point that out.
Edit 2: I loaded up the family into the lot in HonB and still had no issue with feeding the toddler in the base game high chair shown in the above photo. I noticed there's a chair missing. Is it possible you're using a CC high chair? Also, the Dad had no issues cooking. So, I'm starting to wonder if the CC you have is causing the issues. Also, maybe double check the placement. If you used MOO to place the cabinets, it might cause a routing failure similar to the toddler potty placement.
i removed my mods and re-added them bit by bit to find out which was the issue.. i removed 1 that i think could of been the problem.. i also updated Deaderpool command center aswell as removed 1 Slice of life mod..i didnt realize i had 2 but i think it might of solved it..im going to re-decorate next and put clothes back on my sims and see if its ok still.
MOO is Move Objects On. It's a cheat that allows you to place items anywhere, overlap them, etc., and while this creates some pretty/interesting/useful effects you also need to playtest it to make sure that the items are still useable.

@AndreaHope Wonderful! I'm glad you were able to figure that out. Have fun playing! :-)
