Highschool Stories has ruined my sims lifespans

Got high school stories today (18/08/22) and when I entered my usual family I saw their lifespans had become the normal length when I always play on long lifespans, googled and saw that MC command centre was the issue so I took it out of my mods folder and hopped back in. Looked normal at first until I realised that my toddler sim had lost all its progression through the life state and my baby sims appeared too as well (birthday on the calendar changed), even weirder though was that all of my young adult sims ages synced, even though I had watched all these sims be born on different days because I'm doing a legacy challenge :/ 

Has anyone else had this issue and potentially know a fix? Is there a way to set how many days a sim has lived through its life stage? I really don't wan't to have to reset because I spent alot of time and effort on this family ☹️
