Horse Ranch- Sad Horse

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.99.305.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? unknown, play the game?
What happens when the bug occurs? the horse gets sad even when all the needs are met and even when i have taken them out riding.
What do you expect to see? when the horses needs are met including daily riding i expect a happy horse
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

please fix this bug. its getting pretty old to restart my game to resolve the issue.

    Do you ask them what’s wrong when they’re sad? There could be a variety of causes - if they’ve been training and knocked over a rail or barrel, they’ll generally be sad due to that failure; certain traits can cause them to be sad in certain situations like being indoors too long if a free spirit; sometimes if you have goats one of them will be mean to them and they’ll be sad from that.

    The above reply is giving you reasons why. To get them out of the sad mood click on horse there is an option to cheer up horse There are also other options I believe have a blue icon for sadness. It's not a bug but a feature.

    I have tried that, they remain sad even after I take them out for a ride. I have to restart my game for their emotion to change. Thanks for replying.

    Taking them for a ride isn't generally supposed to make them stop being sad. You need to use the indicated interactions (the ones with the blue icon), which you've said work.
