how does Maxis unwrap their sims?

this is a question for people with 3D modeling experience. I made a new body for a sim, and I'm trying to unwrap it to still fit the sim's body texture, but I don't know how to make it so straight and nice, even if I follow the seams. I really hope someone can help me out with this!
