How to create relationships ? (MCC command)

Hi all!

I have recently bought myself a new gaming laptop so I could start playing the sims again. I have always wanted to build all of the maps from scratch, with new families and new lots. Is there a way I can set relationships without having actually met the sim? For example, I just move in a family and I want them to be friends with the next door neighbors without meeting them (for the sake of time efficiency). I feel like you could do this on NRAAS for the Sims 3, but I can't seem to find out how to do it in the Sims 4?

I can see how to create familial relationships (aunt, sister) with random sims, but not normal ones.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks :)

Try these commands from the target sim's MCCC menu:
Sim:MCCC > Relationships > Set Active Relationship Levels > Set Active Friendly
Sim:MCCC > Relationships > Set Active Relationship Levels > Set Active Romantic

You can always call the the MCCC menu for a specific sim from the command line using mccc firstname lastname even if the target sim is not present on the lot.

Example: if you want to be good friends with Jane Doe who is right now on vacation in Granite Falls and you're not, just type mccc jane doe in the command line followed by return and go to Relationships > Set Active Relationship Levels > Set Active Friendly > Good Friends
  • I have used the Mailbox cheats to bring a certain Sim to my active Sim's house. Then I click on the newcomer and go to Relationships and set it from there. My Ancestors from both sides were good friends before the eldest from each household got emotionally entangled, if you get my drift. This young couple married when he was just sixteen and she was fifteen. An, no, from all accounts she was not on the nest. LOL
