I haven't been able to deselect items from my sims, but I'm able to change them. Along with that, my CAS has been looking weird, depicted in the picture above. My game also keeps crashing and it doesn't save anything. I've updated all my mods that usually give me trouble, so I don't know what to do. This only started happening after I updated the game.
I had the same issue and I just saw something on tik tok that said it could be the “more columns in cas” mod which I have and I didn’t realize all my columns were gone. Might need to remove this mod if you have it or see if there is an update Available! Hope that works I am going to try it myself
Please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. Then, if it works, see Broken/Updated Mods & CC
