I can't see my other sims that I've created

I have one sim. When I want to create a new sim, the old one is no longer there.
So how do I solve this problem?
@thelittlewidow When you go to create a new sim, are you creating a new save? If so, the sims in your existing saves won't be present. Each save is independent of all the others, so a sim you add to save 1 won't show up in save 2 and vice versa.
If you want your new sim to be in the same save as the existing sims, load the existing save, then go to the Manage Worlds screen and choose to create a sim from there. You should also be able to add the sim you just created: the new household should be in your game library, and you can add it from Manage Worlds as well.
