03e814d9e97d0e2a If you aren't getting interactions, please test if that's the case with no mods at all: Rename the mods folder, delete localthumbcache, and try again.
If it happens only with mods, check the mod download pages to make sure you have all the mods and packs those mods require. Many mods require a particular EP, for example; if you don't have that, all interactions might break (as one possible symptom). Other mods require a "core" or "injector" type mod, which might or might not be by the same creator.
Normally I'd offer to look at your whole mod set, but unfortunately, I can't do that today, and tomorrow is only slightly possible. However, if the advice above doesn't help, at the end of How to Use Mods and CC are instructions on how to make a file for me to use.
I did dig through my mods and managed to find what was causing the original issue. Since then, the game has actually been running much smoother and interactions work normally again. But now that one problem is gone, a new one has appeared.
The game no longer saves properly. If I save five times during gameplay, maybe only one or two of those saves actually work. The most recent save almost always ends up corrupted — when I restart the game, my main family is completely gone. I need to repair to a back up. That means I keep losing up to an hour of gameplay progress every time I restart. Can't seem to find anyone who had this issue.

03e814d9e97d0e2a Does the game save properly without mods?

Without mods, I couldn’t even get into that household. I decided to save everything important and move everything into a new save file for the first time ever. I think the old one was made in like 2023, is just so corrupt at this point I guess.
So far, so good! Happy I could save everything and I rebuild the family tree with mccc.

03e814d9e97d0e2a When you remove mods, that can block household loading (because of food mods and playmats, mostly). Test with a new household.
