Is there a mod that copies/pastes Sims from my library over NPCs?

So, first off, I usually use MCCC for this, but I find all the other settings fiddly and overwhelming sometimes. The only real reason I want the mod is that I like to copy/paste over NPC sims in the game from my sims in my library, or copy paste outfits from sims in my library onto NPCs, or copy paste body types.

I prefer this to getting MCCC to put tray sims in my game randomly, as I like to control which sims appear. 

Is there a simple mod out there that anyone knows of that can do this?  I don't mind micromanaging other things that MCCC usually controls, as, for example, I can't stand random sims getting married/partnering to other randoms and moving and shifting all over the place.  but I'm happy to go into manage worlds and shift preade/npc sims round and mark them as married etc after doing the CAS cheat.

Or is there a patient person who could let me know what settings to use so that copy/paste feature in the dresser is the only feature I access in MCCC?
