is there a way to edit a household description when already share in the gallery

i search it on google but got no answers so that's why i'm saying it here. Okay so i create a sim or household and add description and tags then i share it in the gallery so people could look at it or download if they want or favorite but when i feel like i want to edit the description because there's a tag i forgot to add or just add a few things i forgot to add to my description. Is there a way to edit a sim or household description when it is already share it in the gallery. i know that once you share something in the gallery, you can't edit the description anymore. I don't want to lose my comments and how much people favorite and download. is there a way to edit share sim or household description

    @the_sniper_boy94  I don't believe you can edit a household or lot etc once it is saved to the gallery, since it is then publicly shared. You can however save the household or lot you want to change the description for to your library if you haven't already, remove that household or lot from the gallery. You can then change the description of your household/sim/sims (in your case) in your library save of that household and reupload it to the gallery. I could be mistaken, but I believe this is the only way to change descriptions of saved lots or households etc. Hope it helps!

    @xJaimerTheGamerx The problem with this method is that the likes and download statistics are removed. I wish it was possible to change the description of a lot shared to the gallery, because it's so annoying when I discover that I spelled something wrong, made a grammatical error or forgot to add tags. -___-

    @SqueamishNerd  Yes, it is very annoying to have favorites and downloads removed for the lot or household. Sadly it is the only possible way to change the description. It is why it is so important to double check your description before uploading it to the gallery. I also will double check my work after I just upload it to the gallery before anyone can download it or favorite it. That way if I make a mistake or a few mistakes I caught it right away and can reupload it again.

    @xJaimerTheGamerx I always double check and triple check, and then I check again directly after I’ve uploaded it. The weirdest thing is that I don’t see many mistakes until I look again a few days later. 😂 I guess it’s because I’m often tired after building something. Now I’ve started to write the whole description directly when I’m saving to my library, but I wait some days before double checking and uploading to the gallery.

    Haha, me too, how IS that???

    I feel like I *thoroughly* check and as soon as I upload, I see mistakes, it's unbelievable.

    I can't believe they're uneditable! ☹️
