My lactose intolerant sim made custard she had eggs and plant milk in her inventory, yet her custard made her sick because it was not lactose free.
Surely she should be able to make it with plant milk and eggs which are lactose safe.

Look at the popup tip. It says if it is Lactose free and/or vegetarian safe.
Yes I am aware of the pop ups, it’s the principle of the thing that a sim can choose to make other lactose free/vegetarian foods. So why not custard which can easily be made in a lactose free variety, especially because the sim had plant milk in their inventory. Maybe EA could add it to their list of fixes.
