Lights and electricity + jobs

I haven't found anything related to this problem but I haven't been able to interact with ANY lights except for the off-the-grid ones and I can't cook anything except a garden salad, even the off-the-grid stoves can't be used for cooking.

This bug occured recently: the job/career's option in the phone/computer has completely disappeared and I can't pick a job from the UI either. No other sim seem to have job either.

I've updated all mods, I don't have off-the-grid or simple living enabled on the lot, I've removed LBB Medieval cookbook from my mods folder which seem to have other troubles unrelated to this problem so i'm suspecting that it might be base-game related but still unsure.
