This is happening for me, as well. I use the Live In Business mod. I removed the old mod and downloaded the latest version, which wasn't in her current list of updated mods. XML Injector hasn't been updated since July 2022, so it's the most recent version. None of my script mods are in folders. The mod doesn't cause conflicts, but it's just not working/showing up in game. On Curse Forge, she says that it should work, but numerous players are reporting difficulty.
Have you tried the curseforge download of the XML injector as well? It is dated 10/27/22. https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/xml-injector
