I have two issues, first, "CAFE' as a lot assignment is no longer an option. The second problem is, one of my lots in OASIS SPRINGS, has been disabled as a "VENUE LOT' it's NOT. This has only happened since the last UPDATE. What is going on???
Since the game doesn't have a café lot trait I assume that you have a mod for it that you forgot to update. Please do that. You will need to apply the changes again.

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I've literally already done this three times, and removed mods that were broken. I've also repaired the game afterwards, and still have this problem. The repair game option has literally given me new Sims folders with files missing. Tonight I'm going to do this again, with no MODS in the game. And if I still have this issue, then what? And yes, one of the packs does have a CAFE lot trait. I wish I never updated and installed that new expansion pack as that's when all of the problems began.
Did you test in a new game as instructed? Broken mods can permanently damage a save.
