[main menu broken]

Question

I was just logging in after a few minutes of taking a lil break for like 10 minutes (ive been playing for a few hours beforehand) and when i launch, it asks for a restart so i restarted it and when i relaunched it, it just crashes in the main menu and refuses to close unless i restart my pc. my pc also lets me know if a mod is not working or if theres something wrong in my files and there isnt. is this happening to anybody else?

What program do you use to make your pc let you know which mod or cc is causing problems? I can't play either :(
