So with the new update, my mcc got broken. When I went to get the new cc I was able to download the woohoo cc but not the actual mcc due to chrome saying "suspicious download blocked." This is the first time this has happened to me in all the years that I've used mcc.
I'm just wondering if someone has ran into the sane problem? Surely it's not just me that has had a suspicious download.
This have happened to me a few times now, with the latest version and the one before it. It's good to be cautios when downloading mods but at least for me it was a false alarm. I downloaded anyways, just checked the files looked fine and same than before.
Sorry this might sound really stupid, but how do you check if a file is fine to download after the suspicious download has come up?
I downloaded both zip's the day he put them up, and have had no issued downloading or playing with them. Perhaps just your ISP that are being stingy?
You can at least check that they are files that the game uses like .package or .ts4script. No .exe files etc. And compaire them to your old MCCC files so that there is nothing new and different unless the modder has informed that something has changed. I'm not an expert so take it with grain of salt, please.
I was just going to download them since the suspicious download has never happened before. Surely if everyone else is able to download, mines not any different? I'm going to have a deeper look into the files and see
The downloads at Curseforge and Patreon (the ones that can be mentioned here) are fine. Sounds like your antivirus software is being overly suspicious.
Maybe, it's doing the same with the patreon and discord downloads l. I don't want to download the mod and get a virus is all
