I purchased the sims 4: For Rent pack this afternoon, and after 4 hours of trying and trying to play, I'm struggling to access any of the content. The world won't load and I'm not able to build lots. Whenever I launch the game it seems to be working, but as soon as I try to access the content, it fails. I've deleted the game and reinstalled it, disabled any mods and custom content, and cleared the cache, however, nothing is working. Please help.
@Yofavv-kiah Do any of the Build/Buy items show up? If not, please run a search for EP15 , which is the folder for For Rent. Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and enter EP15 in the search field in the upper-right corner. Wait for the search to finish, then make sure the full file path is showing under each result. If it's not, expand the window sideways as necessary. Take a screenshot using Windows key-shift-S and attach it to a reply here.
If some Build/Buy content does show up, please test a new save with your Mods folder removed and let me know what you find.
I deleted the T.O.O.L mod and now it's working! Thank you so much for your help!
